IMMEDIATE RELEASE 1 March 2002 Bennie de Beer has been appointed as Managing Director of Resolution Health (Pty) Ltd, Resolution Health Medical Scheme, with effect from 1 March 2002. Adv. Jannie Kotze, Chief Executive Officer says that with De Beer joining their management team, Resolution Health will reach new heights in 2002. De Beer is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, specialising in medico-legal matters. He has been working directly with the medical profession on medico-legal and medico-ethical matters since 1997. For the past four years, he has been assisting the larger hospital groups and general medical fraternity with medical negligence protection and continuous medical negligence education. De Beer graduated from Rand Afrikaans University with a B.Proc LLB. He has also obtained the credentials of Certificate in Business Studies (Insurance Institute of South Africa) and Certificate in Medicine and Law, from Unisa and the University of Pretoria. De Beer is the former head of the Proton Medical Malpractice Division and manager of the Medical Malpractice Division of Glenrand M.I.B. Limited. In 2001 he was appointed director of Aidsure (Pty) Ltd, Glenrand M.I.B. Limited and an alternate director of Glenrand M.I.B. Professional Services (Pty) Ltd.
